Click menu option in homepage, click “System Configuration”, click “Entities”, it will redirect you to Entities page or on homepage click “Start” button under “Create Entity” section.
About Entities
As a first step for an IoT platform, you will need to identify and define “What are the Things I’d like to connect and manage within the platform. An Entity represents a model for various types of “Things”. Once an “Entity” has been defined within the system, each instance of that Entity will have:
- A Qliktag which is a unique identifier in the Qliktag system to locate a Thing
- A data model that defines the attributes of the Things being represented by the Entity.
- A list of the key attributes (other than the Qliktag) that uniquely identify an instance of the Entity over the internet.
- Relationships to other Entities
