Data Channel Interactions are conducted via Data Channels which are used to map the JSON input or output from a Standard API to a JSON structure more suited to the consumer of the information. A Data Channel is defined by a JSON schema of the mapped JSON structure and the mapping of the standard JSON structure to the mapped JSON structure. The mapping is defined by a mapping file in the form a JSONata script.
