Digital Interactions are represented by an access endpoint which is essentially a URL that is used to invoke the Digital Interaction. Digital Links are similarly an access endpoint but do not invoke a specific Digital Interaction but point to a Thing and invoke a default or context based Digital Interaction on the Thing. For example, say I defined two Visual Interaction Templates one applicable for the US market and one for the EU market. I can invoke the Visual Interaction on the Thing of interest directly or access the Digital Link for the Thing which would determine my location and invoke either the US or EU suitable Digital Interaction. This is quite similar to when I access us.yahoo.com or in.yahoo.com that take me to the US or India version of the Yahoo home page versus www.yahoo.com that take me to the US or India home page depending on my location (context).
